Henry A. Swank

Henry A. "Sonny" Swank, born on July 10, 1953, passed away on March 18, 2017 at his home. He was preceded in death by his son, Mark Anthony; mother, Vina; father, Clyde; brothers, Clyde, Jr., Donnie, and David; and sister, Jeannie. Sonny is survived by his wife of 22 years, Judy Swank; children, Tina, Melody, Scott, Henry, Jr., Emily, and James; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Rosemary, Sylvia, and Brenda; brothers, Ronnie, Herbert, Michael, and Ricky; best friend, Bill Cornwell; and many nieces and nephews. Sonny was a seven year Marine Corp veteran. A loyal truck driver for 44 years. He loved to fish, camp, have cookouts, getting together with friends and family but most of all Sonny loved to spend time with his wife and tinker in his garage. Friends may call on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 from 2:00PM-4:00PM and 6:00PM-8:00PM at the HOPE and HEART FUNERAL HOME BY SCHOEDINGER, 3030 West Broad St., Columbus, Ohio where funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at 10:00AM. Pastor Al Carter officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery.
