

Homer (Ted) Anderson, 81 of Gahanna, OH peacefully passed to his heavenly home on April 10, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. He was born to Homer and Erie (Hurley) Anderson in McVeigh, KY on October 30, 1938. Ted was a graduate of Belfry High School, Belfry, KY and served in the United States Air Force as a sheet metal aircraft repairman from 1956-1960.
Ted was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Erie (Hurley) Anderson; his brother and his brother's wife, H. Wilson and Emogene Anderson; his brother Don Anderson; and his brother-in-law Charles Adair.
He is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 59 years, Barbara (Keesee); and three awesome children that he considered the lights of his life, Susan (Smokey) Solze, Gahanna OH, Sharon Anderson, New York NY, and Steven (Leanna) Anderson, Gahanna OH. He was blessed with seven beautiful grandchildren, Dale (Mae) Solze, Nashville TN, Ashlea Solze, Gahanna OH, Austin (Rachel) Solze, Pataskala OH, Justin Solze, Gahanna OH, Sovereign, Mazzy and Josey Anderson, Gahanna OH. And, most recently added one adorable great-grandson, James Solze of Nashville TN. Also surviving are sister, Charlene (Anderson) Adair, Signal Mountain TN; sisters-in-law, Donna (Carter) Anderson, Riverview MI, Kim (Steve) Akers, Stone KY, and Sonia (Dwight) Varney, Columbus OH; as well as many loved nieces and nephews; longtime friend, Ross (Doc) Rush; and several grand puppies and kitties.
Ted was a proud member of Sheet Metal Local 98 for several years until he decided he wanted to be his own boss. Over the years, he owned and operated many successful roofing and sheet metal businesses and two famous carry-outs, Pace-High and Andy's on High Street, Columbus OH. He was a member of New Life Church-Gahanna. On a nice day, Ted could be found either riding his motorcycle or enjoying an ice cream with his children and grandchildren.

SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST, Gahanna has been entrusted with Ted's funeral arrangements, which will include a private funeral With Pastor Steve Benninger officiating and burial to follow at Kingwood Memorial Park.
