
Ian Josiah Cousins,23, was born June 11, 1999, to Anika R. Henry in Columbus, OH, affectionately known as “Booby.” His infectious smile and personality were unmatched and magnetizing. Ian would bring life to any room with his charismatic energy and humor. Ian loved adrenaline-rushing activities such as fast cars, motorcycles, and dirt bikes. He also was a fashion guru. He took pride in his appearance, which added to his charming demeanor. Ian had many other hobbies, such as traveling to his favorite state of California, playing poker, and working on computers. But his ultimate favorite activity was loving on his girls, His mother, grandmother, and sisters, as he would go above and beyond to attend to their needs. He graduated from Canal Winchester High School in 2018. Ian was very technical and enjoyed being an electrician apprentice with his father. Ian also looked forward to embarking on a career as a welder. Ian will be missed by all who knew and loved him, and his light will continue to shine for eternity.
He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted mother, Anika R. Henry; beloved sisters, Mckegan F. Cousins, and Mckai E. Cousins; devoted grandmother, Judy E. Cousins; grandmothers Harriet Vincent and Loretta Butler and father, Fredrick Butler. Special family: Rashaun and Vickie Gilmore, Nina Gaiton, Jeremiah Green, Melissa McKinney, Kyla Mason, John and Tina Barnett, Sadera Johnson, Rondell, and Donna Wade. Special Friends, Deven Williams, Nate Jelks, Izaiah Robinson, Michelle Yanni, De’Rea Gray, The Johnston Family and Cristina Plummer, and many family and friends. Memorial services will be held at Total Life Ministries 2260 E. Fifth Ave. Columbus,OH 43219 at 5 PM. No airbrushed tee shirts or children under 5 please.
