Jack “Pete” Clay, age 62, passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2010, after a brief battle with esophageal cancer. He was a graduate of Linden McKinley High School, and worked for Gold Circle, Carroll and Associates, and most recently for Community Bus Services. He was an avid golfer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Barbara. He is survived by his sister, Pam; 2 nephews; 2 great nieces; many cousins; and close friends, especially the gang from Gold Circle. Visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 4, 2010, at the SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Curt Combs officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
