Jack Hart

Mr. John (Jack) Hart, age 95 of Columbus, passed away Monday, March 23, 2015. John was born in Kenton, Ohio. He was the last surviving child of 11 children born to the late Philip and Madeline Hart. Also, preceded in death by his loving wife of 68 years, Dorothy Hart and daughter Sandi Tincher of Dublin, Ohio.

John developed his lifelong love for steam engines during his 40 year career as a railroad fireman and engineer, working for the Pennsylvania, Penn Central and the Conrail Railroad systems.

John will be greatly missed by his loving family; daughter Barbara Yothers; grandchildren Tami Grant, Amy Tincher, Stuart Yothers, Stephanie (Matthew) Fortner, Colin Yothers; great-grandson, Brody Tincher-Welch.

Relatives and friends are welcome at the SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High Street, on Friday, March 27, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Chaplain Phil Williams, officiating. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
