

Jack Wilbur Warner, born July 10, 1939 ended his long battle with Parkinson’s Disease May 27, 2010. Jack graduated Eastmoor High School, Class of 1958 and served in the United States Air Force. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur and Harriett Warner. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Patricia (Ross) Warner; daughters, Carol (Daniel) Bravard of Reynoldsburg and Sarah (Scott) Williams of Zanesville; granddaughters, Melissa (Ben) Heemeyer, Nikki (Gerry) Anderson, Amy Bravard, Jackie Bravard, and Ariana Bravard; grandson, Alex Williams; great grandson, Logan Heemeyer; mother-in-law, Carrol Gale; sister-in-law, Elizabeth (Ronald) Chadwick of Dalton, Georgia; and numerous cousins, and friends. Jack was a member of the Carpenters Local #200 for 45 years during which time he worked for Jerry L. Mason and served as project manager for the Waterford Tower in downtown Columbus. He and his wife were facilitators for the Eastside Parkinson’s support group. Jack enjoyed wood working, gardening, cruising with his wife. Many friends and family will miss his gentle sense of humor and willingness to help those in need. The family would like to thank those from ComForCare, Mt. Carmel Hospice, Emeritus at Lakeview, Palliative Care Unit at St. Ann’s, and the private care givers who allowed him to say in his home. A very special thanks to Barbara Castelli for her dedication and help in giving Jack the tender love and hope with his Parkinson’s Disease. Funeral services will be held at 12 P.M. Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 2135 Baldwin Rd., where family will receive friends from 10 A.M. until time of service. Internment Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
