James Albert Brady

James Albert Brady, age 78, lifelong resident of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2016. He was born to the late Kermit and Lucille Brady on October 23, 1937. He was a 1955 graduate of West High School and a member of the Alumni Association. James retired from National Graphics after many years of dedicated service. He was an avid woodworker and enjoyed camping. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Brady; second wife, Margaret Brady; and brother, Jack Brady. He is survived by his wife, Deborah Brady; children, Beth (John) Calhoun, Cathy (Jeffrey) McEvoy, Jimmy (Kimberly) Brady, and Mimi DeWine; grandchildren, Shannon (Ashlee), Jochen, Kyle, Kobe, Kaitlyn, and Alli; great granddaughters, Kaylee and Maria; sister, Barbara Miller; and numerous nieces and nephews. James loved his family and never met a stranger. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 11, 2016 from 4:00PM-7:00PM at the SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL, 3030 West Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43204 where funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at 10:00AM. Jeffrey McEvoy officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, Ohio. Contributions in James's memory may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses or to the Cerebral Palsy Foundation.
