James "Jim" Chandler, age 56, passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2017. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on May 29, 1960. He graduated from Grove City High School in 1978, loved fishing, and was a huge Ohio State Buckeye and Dallas Cowboy fan. He was preceded in death by grandparents Homer and Fani Hall, Gerald and Ruth Chandler and Richard and Gladys Kountz; and half-brother Gregory Chandler. He is survived by parents James N. Chandler, and Patricia and William Kountz; brother William (June) Kountz; sisters Michele Pierson, Stacy (Dawn) Chandler, Tammy (Mike) Speed and Debbie Hall; half-sisters Tonia (Chandler) Wooten and Ilana Chandler; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Thursday, March 9, 2017 from 6-8pm and Friday, March 10, 2017 from 10-11am at Schoedinger Grove City Chapel 3920 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123, where a funeral service will be held on Friday, March 10 at 11am.
