James Robert Childers, 91, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2015. He was born March 31, 1924 in Lancaster, Ohio. He was a hard working employee for Yadkins Interstate for over 40 years. He enjoyed playing cards and tending to his garden. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary J. Childers; stepmother, Bertha Childers; siblings, Helen Schooley, Jerald Childers, Ronnie Childers, and Norma J. Sanders. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Connie Childers; daughter, Michelle Moore; beloved dog, Pumpkin; brother, William Childers; and many other relatives and dear friends. Visitation will be 6-8:00 pm Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at the SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL, 3030 W. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio.
