My deepest sympathy to Jim's family and friends. As we think about our loved ones that have died and the imprint they leave on our hearts, we find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love.I hope the scriptures that I'm sharing below will bring you a bit of comfort now and always when you think of Jim.
Acts 24:15- There will be a resurrection
Revelation 21:4- "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away".

Jason, Katy, Gabe, Collin, and Drew purchased the Angel Arrangement for the family of James Dale Hardy .

The day we got out of the Corps, Jim on left me on right.  We four had gone thru boot together.

At the Big 10 Championship game last year in Indy

I first met Jim on January the 18th, 1972.  We had just arrived at MCRD San Diego, California to begin Marine Corps Boot Camp.  We went on to spend the next 13 grueling weeks sweating and grunting our way through.  During this short amount of time I got to know him and came to think of him and love him as a brother.  This friendship then spread to include our wives, who became very close, and has continued ever since.  We had many an adventure over those early years in California and then some later, once we were empty nesters.

I am going to miss ya Jim......  a lot.

Hardy Family,

You dad was a best friend, father figure and brother all in one to me.  I will miss him sorely.  He was one of a kind and cherish all the memories I have with him.  Take comfort in how proud he was of you guys as our conversations always involved him sharing how everyone was doing and how much he loved you guys.  I will never forget his sarcastic one liners.  He was a big influence on my life.  May he rest in peace.
