

James Victor Morrow II, age 73, of Wheeling, WV living in Columbus, OH passed away February 2, 2026 peaceful at his home. James "Big Jim" was born March 24, 1952 to Laura Belle & James V. Morrow in Wheeling, WV. Jim moved to Columbus, OH in the 90's and worked & retired from The City of Columbus. Jim loved the outdoors. He loved hunting & fishing. You could find him stopping off to cast a line on the way to the grocery store. Jim loved teaching the younger generation about the outdoors & how to respect it. He loved getting pictures & texts of them getting their buck or doe. He loved helping processing deer. Let's be honest.. he supervised!!! He loved his time at his cabin in Nelsonville for his guys weekends & The Thunder In The Valley! Jim would pull the boat out whenever the mood hit him & loved being on the water. Jim loved to travel and would travel back home to Wheeling any chance he got to visit family & friends. But he was always sure to bring you back DeCarlo's Pizza & a fish sandwich from Coleman's Fish Market. Jim loved thrifting, gardening & giving you a hard time! Jim spent most of his time with his person & nephew Joe White. His honesty was like no other & he had no problem giving you a piece of his mind. Jim is preceded in death by his mother Laura Belle & Father James Morrow SR. His brother Charles Morrow & Grandmother Alice Morrow who cared for him in his younger years and his brothers from another mother John Buddy White & Davie Green. Jim is survived by his son James Morrow III. Grandchildren Bryan & Aaron Morrow & their mother Jessica Trussell. Sister Vicki (Micheal) Raleigh & Brother Donald Morrow. Niece Jessica Ernest & Nephew Joshua Raleigh. And his adopted family in Columbus, OH who held it down!!!! IN THE WORDS OF JIM..... "NOTHING IS TO GOOD FOR YOU!!!!" and "40 is 40!"
