

Jan Robin Harper, age 68, of Reynoldsburg, died unexpectedly Thursday, January 18, 2024. He was born October 17, 1955 in Bowling Green, Ohio, son of the late Thomas A. and Betty (McAtee) Harper. Jan was a devoted restaurant manager for over 35 years. He will be sorely missed and is survived by his wife, Kathleen “Kelley” Harper; his daughter, Caitlin Robin Harper; beloved grandson, Carter Harper-Deutsch; brothers, Charles A. and Thomas Harper; other relatives and many friends. Preceded in death by his father Thomas Albert Harper; mother, Betty Harper Jones; brother, Dennis Harper and brother-in-law, Michael Joseph Breen. Jan loved spending time with his family, especially spoiling his grandson Carter. He was an avid Bengals and Buckeye fan and also enjoyed playing golf and throwing darts with family and friends. A Celebration Gathering will be held from 2:00- 5:00 pm Sunday, February 4, 2024 at 1883 Locale, 7349 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg, OH 43068. Private interment Glen Rest Memorial Estates. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 5455 North High Street, Columbus, Ohio 43214 or to charity of choice, in Jan’s name.
