

Jane H. Hooker, born April 3, 1935 went to be with the Lord on October 22, 2020 at the age of 85. Preceded by her parents, Margaret and Wilmer Harman (Columbus, Ohio) and her sister Sue Scofield (Charleston, SC).
She is survived by her husband, Ron, and children Cheri (Donal) O’Mathuna, Jeff (Emily) Hooker and Greg (Cheryl) Hooker. She loved and was deeply devoted to her family. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Catrina, Conor, Peter, Carly, Max, Shaney and Maggie, and great-granddaughter, Billie Anne.
Jane was strong in her faith in Jesus Christ. She attended Upper Arlington Lutheran Church where she was involved in several Bible studies and discipleship.
She graduated from Upper Arlington High School, Class of 1953. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in nursing and later a Master’s degree in nursing education from the College of Nursing, The Ohio State University. She was a member of Delta Gamma. For 30 years she was a nurse at Children’s Hospital, first in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and for the last seven years as Associate Director of Nursing Education. She was very passionate about nursing. For the next 25 years she was the office manager for Hooker Painting & Decorating.
