

Janet Eilene Fisher, age 78, passed away at the Kobacker House on December 7, 2010, after a long illness. She was born on December 18, 1931. Janet graduated with the class of 1949 from Blume High School in Wapakoneta, Ohio. She then attended Bowling Green State University, where she was a member of the Delta Zeta sorority; she later earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from The Ohio State University in 1954. Janet loved being a homemaker and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who had a deep and unconditional love for her family. She had an unwavering faith in God and was a member of the Upper Arlington Lutheran Church since 1966. She had a positive spirit, great sense of humor and truly lived her life to be an example for all to live by.
Along with her husband Del, she was an avid OSU fan and a Life Member of the Ohio State Alumni Association. She was an extraordinary woman, who was an accomplished seamstress, a talented artist and a published poet. Her family will forever cherish her love, friendship and encouragement. She is preceded in death by her mother, Treva Harber; father and stepmother, Roy and Cleona “Onie” Ingledue; her loving husband of 45 years, Del; and granddaughter Mary Rose. She is survived by her children, Jim (Tammie) Fisher, and their children: Sean, Holly, Heidi and Libby; Jill Fisher Shively and her children: Tyler, Joy (David), Jenna, Thomas “Toby” and Julianne; Tom (Carol) Fisher, and their children: Kelsey, Nicole, Danielle, Kristin and Alaina; sister, Rose Marie “Ree” Werner; many nieces and nephews; and extended Fisher and Werner families. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the wonderful people of HomeReach Hospice; especially, Cynthia, Marie and Trina.
