Jay Dee Stepp

Jay attended Franklin Heights High School as well as Paul C. Hayes Technical School for auto mechanics. He joined the military in August of 2006 and was honorably discharged in August 2012. In 2013 he attended Hocking College for eco tourism and travel where he had the time of his life scuba diving in the Bahamas. He enjoyed music, hiking, camping, bird watching, rock climbing and weight lifting and was always up for an adventure.

Jay is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jack and Elsie Stepp; and maternal grandparents, Joyce Morris and Paul Rowley

Jay will be greatly missed by his mother, Rose Knapp; father Jay Stepp Sr.; children, Dylan and Gauge Stepp, Ethan Martin; step-son, Steven Greene; sister, Jennifer Spaulding; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Family will receive friends from 4-7pm on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at Heart and Hope by Schoedinger, 3030 W. Broad St. Columbus, Ohio 43204; a private service will be held.
