I am just now learning of Jeff's death…it is July 13. 2012. I went to OU with Jeff and shared many happy times with him.  He dated my friend and roommate Sharon while at OU and boy we had some wonderful times.  I was with him when he learned of the cancer and it was so upsetting for all.  May time bring peace to you all.

Jeff got his last joke on you.  With his ear-to-ear grin on his face,he opened up the sky and made it rain down on you, hoping you would get soaking-wet while you laid him to rest. I somehow feel giddy right now knowing his orneryness will live on forever.

I have known J eff for 34 years and other than during his fathers passing, I don't remember ever seeing him without an ear-to-ear grin on his face that honestly could light up a room instantly.  He endured a horrific illness early in his life and conquered it, but for reasons unknown to us all he could not conquer this latest illness.  Only the Lord knows why he was taken from all those who loved him.  He left no enemies, he left no bad memories,but he did leave hundreds of people with a void in their hearts.  I have a special card and note tucked away with my mementos in a keepsake drawer, He sent that note to me 6 years ago when I faced a deadly cancer, he had faith that I could face it and beat it.  It makes me wonder why I'm still here, having lived a much longer life, yet he is gone at the very young age of 47. His brothers, mother, my sister Sheryl (his sister inlaw) his nephews, neice, and of course his beloved Molly, have all my thoughts and prayers.  May God be with you. I love you Jeff.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your beloved loved one!  I work at the Pickaway Senior Center and know Jean very well.  I so much ache for her and the family over this great loss!  My deepest condolences to all of you!! My prayer is that you may some how feel the love and warmth from so many friends and family who very ernestly feel your deepest pain!

One of my fondest memories of Jeff was the fun we had running track and cross country at Circleville H.S. Away meets were the most fun, especially when his mom drove their van. It was always the place to hang out before and the rally point after each meet. I will always remember playing Atari in Mike McCrady's basement during Pumpkin Show, just hanging out and joking around.
Jeff and I share a bond as we are both cancer survivors. We were diagnosed about a few years apart. I think that experience made us both stronger and helped us see life just a little different, to see the good in everything.
I wish I could be there for the family, but I am currently deployed with the US Army in Kuwait. My heart, thoughts, and prayers go out to the family. May the Lord smile down upon you all.

I am shocked and saddened to hear of Jeff's passing.  I've known Jeff since high school and we both worked in the State Office Tower.  We would run into each other occasionally and chat for a while.  Jeff was just an incredible guy... one I feel especially blessed to have known.

I have so many memories of Jeff, I don't know where to begin. This past Saturday I was sharing a story about him with my son Kyle who also knew Jeff. I would guess it was 7th grade, and Jeff had a Joe Walsh album, probably from one of his brothers. Either way, he insisted that I listen to it. Well I did and quickly became a big fan of Joe and a bigger fan of Jeff for turning me on to good music. Jeff loved music. Last Saturday May 26, My son and I went to watch Joe here in Nashville. I thought a lot about Jeff that night and how much I wish he could've been there. My son and I shall raise a pint in his honor. I think he would've liked that. Jeff will be greatly missed and forever remembered. Until we meet again my friend.

Dear Family,
I never knew Jeffrey but he seemed like a person who loved life and had so much to live for. I am sure he will be deeply missed. How true are the words at Ecclesiastes 9:11 "That the swift do not always when the race". Please know that Jehovah God knows your pain and "He is near to those broken in heart" Psalms 34:18. May the words at Revelation 21:3,4 prove true for you " God will wipe out every tear from your eyes and death will be no more".
