Jeffrey J Morrison

Jeffrey J Morrison, age 60 of Plain City, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2011. Jeffrey was born February 17, 1951 in Circleville and was raised in Grove City. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and retired from the City of Newark where he worked as a Supervisor in Public Utilities. Jeffrey was also a Past Master of the Mt. Sterling Masonic Lodge and he was a hobby blacksmith and served on the board of the Southern Ohio Forge and Anvil. Jeffrey was a very comforting man who had a tremendous sense of humor. Most of all, Jeffrey enjoyed spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. Jeffrey will be missed by his loving wife of 39 years, Judy Morrison; children, Megan (Greg) Sauer, Kelly (Blake) Glisson, Steven (Michelle) Morrison, and Kathleen (Moises) Hernandez; grandchildren, Chloe, Isabelle, and Genevieve Sauer and Cameron, Connor, and Carter Glisson; parents, Lillian Morrison and Jim S. (Agnes) Morrison; mother-in-law, Margie Francis; siblings, Jeanie (Steve) Lisak, Kristina (Don) Jordan, Andrew Morrison, and Sam (Wendy) Morrison; brothers and sisters in law, Chuck (Cathy) Francis, Sheryl (Scott) Janney, Fred (Gina) Francis, Cindy Carr, Bobby Francis, and Bill (Heidi) Francis; and many other extended family members and dear friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 A.M. Friday, December 16, 2011 at SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, where family will receive friends from 5-8 P.M.
