Jerry Hoff

Jerry and Barbara Hoff ages 64 and 66, passed away together doing what they loved, touring the country on their Harley. They were best friends who enjoyed new adventures, traveling the open road and spending time with family and friends. They were happily married for 46 years. Jerry worked at The Ohio State University, Department of Chemistry for 29 years. Barbara retired from a lifetime of teaching working for Columbus City Schools, and for the London and Madison Correctional Institutions. Jerry is preceded in death by his father, Frederick Hoff Sr. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Evelyn Perry, her brother, Carl “Bobby” Perry. They are survived by Jerry’s mother, Rosemary Hoff, his brother, Frederick Hoff Jr., Barbara’s siblings, Connie Perry, Jerry Perry and Doug Perry, and together by their children, Tamara (David) Tebben, Justin (Jill) Hoff; grandchildren, Laura and Mary Tebben, and Annamarie Hoff, and numerous other relatives. Family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. and 5-7 p.m., Saturday, June 20, 2015 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL 1051 E. Johnstown Rd. Gahanna, OH 43230. A funeral service will be held at 10:00am, Thursday, June 25, 2015 at the Church of the Messiah United Methodist Church, 51 N. State St. Westerville, OH 43081 pastor Kathy Currier officiating. Interment to follow at Sunbury Memorial Park in Delaware Co. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Jerry and Barbara’s names to the American Cancer Society.
