

Jerry D. Jordan, 80, passed away peacefully, at home, February 13, 2015. He was born in Duncan, OK and raised in Mt. Vernon, IL. Jerry was a graduate of Denison University and the University of Michigan Law School. He served as a navigator in the US Air Force.
He was an attorney with Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease for 25 years, CEO of CGAS, Inc., and founded Knox Energy with son, Mark. Jerry was chairman of Independent Petroleum Association of America, president and trustee of the Ohio Oil and Gas Association, adjunct Professor at Capital Law School, National Petroleum Council, Director of Mountain States Legal Foundation, Ohio Oil and Gas Commission. A member of the Ohio Bar Association, Columbus Bar Association, Athletic Club of Columbus, Worthington United Methodist Church.
He is predeceased by parents W.F. and Leona Jordan; and sister Jeane J. Kirkpatrick. Survived by wife Sally; son Mark (Michele); daughters Anne Treasure (Tim) and Whitney Brobeck (Patrick). Grandchildren: Matthew, Eric, Kevin Jordan; Mehdee and Armon Tavakoli; Emily T. Greene (Jarret), Andrew, Joseph and Luke Treasure; Peter, Scott and Lindy Brobeck.
Calling hours will be held at Schoedinger Worthington Chapel on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday at Worthington United Methodist Church, 600 High Street, Worthington, OH 43085. Reception following at Worthington Hills Country Club.
