Jerry Lee Plantz

Jerry Lee Plantz beloved husband, father, grandfather passed away January 15, 2020 at the age of 72. Born in South Charleston, West Virginia to Harold and Myrtle Plantz on October 24, 1947. Jerry was a veteran who served in the United States Army and then he attended The Ohio State University. Jerry owned and operated a car dealership in Delaware, Ohio for many years and was also a sales consultant. He enjoyed the outdoors where he spend his time fishing, gardening and playing pool. In addition, he enjoyed his cars and riding his motorcycle in Ohio with his wife. He was optimistic, respectful, generous, and always having a smile to share with his family and friends as well as his sense of humor. He preceded by his parents, sister and brother. He is survived by his wife, Marlene Plantz; children Christopher, Scott, Timothy, Jaimie, Milton and Jose Ney Sr; grandchildren Marlene, Ronald, Carolina, Jamie, Yesenia, Gabriela, Norma, Roberto, Abraham, Jose Ney, Angie and Dayana; and his very special cat, Shemp. Family will receive friends from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at Schoedinger Northeast, 1051 E Johnstown Rd, Gahanna with Military Honors at 7:00 pm. Prayer service will follow.
