Jesse"Jack" Lee Wood

Jesse “Jack” Lee Wood III, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, February 25, 2010. Jesse “Jack” took disability retirement from the State of Ohio, Ohio Dept. of Jobs and Family Services, MIS in 1996 due to chronic health. He attended Grace Brethren Church Worthington. Jack was born December 4, 1934 in Los Angeles, CA. He taught school for several years in CA, but most of his career was in the field of computer and information systems. He lived many years in Texas which he thought of as his home before coming to Ohio in 1983. Preceded in death by his parents, Dr. J. Lee Wood II and Winifred Ruth (Sheffler) Wood. Survived by his devoted wife Janet, sons Peter J., Sacramento, CA; Armando J., Rolling Hills Estates, CA; Paul (Stella) Folsom, CA; Dr. Franklin C. (Kim) Camarillo, CA; Sgt. Brent M, USAF, Panama City, FL; daughters Lorraine L. (Don) Newberry, Camarillo, CA; and Meredith Wood, Dublin, OH. Also survived by sisters Winifred (George) Badger, Irving, CA; and Virginia L. Lee, Balboa Island, CA; ten grandchildren Nicole, Armando Jr, Lisa, Joseph, Ashlee, Natasha, Jesse L Wood IV, Olivia Newberry, Jacqueline and Alexis Newberry. Services will be Friday, March 5 at 11 AM at Grace Brethren Church, 8225 Worthington Galena Rd., Westerville, OH 43081.
