Jessica Lou Eckhart

Jessica "Jessie" Lou Eckhart, age 64, passed away peacefully after a short illness on January 25, 2017 at Riverside Methodist Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born June 14, 1952 in Columbus, Ohio to Ellis L. Foster, Jr. and Carolyn Foster. Jessie graduated from St. Andrew Catholic School, Upper Arlington; Bishop Watterson High School (class of '70); and Ohio State University with a B.S. in Education. She returned to St. Andrew Catholic School as a kindergarten teacher. In the last few years, she has worked at Dublin Methodist Hospital. Jessie was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of ten years, Michael A. Eckhart and his children, Mick, Ashley and Barbara (Gary) and their son, Seth; her son, Eric Louis Dobson and his father, Michael E. Dobson; brother, Eagan L. (Janet) Foster; nephews and their families, Brian L. (Amber) Foster with Lilly, Ethan and Mason and Sean E. (LaTisha) Foster with Brianna and Autumn. Her memory will also be treasured by the many members of her extended McDonald, Mullin and Milner families, as well, as her many friends, her former students and their families. Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 1899 McCoy Road, Upper Arlington, Ohio. Burial at Resurrection Cemetery, 9571 N High St, Lewis Center, OH. A Celebration of Life will be observed on Wednesday evening, February 1, 2017 at Radiant Life Church, 7100 Post Rd, Dublin, Ohio.
