Jo Ann Martin, age 89, passed away peacefully at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center on June 8, 2025 after many years of serious health problems. She was born on Jan. 18, 1936 in Columbus, Ohio and lived here entire life. She retired after many years from the Ohio State University. Everyone who knew her, always commented that she was a kind, sweet and lovely person. Jo Ann loved her daughter Cheryl more than life itself and she could not have been a better mother to Cheryl. Jo Ann enjoyed her home near the Big Darby Creek and all the nature she observed from her home. She kept her great sense of humor till the very end of her life. Jo Ann leaves behind her daughter, Cheryl, (Bob), and many family members. She will always be missed by her daughter Cheryl who loved her mother so much. Funeral services for Jo Ann will remain private.
