Joan Gibson

Joan Gibson, age 73, of Worthington was Promoted to Glory on Wednesday, September 29, 2010. Joan was born on January 28, 1937 in Brooklyn, New York; she was the daughter of the late Ted and Winnie Stanfield. Joan is survived by her loving husband, Don; sons, Don (Patricia), Ted (Corinne) and Dave; grandchildren, Courtney, Kara, Chelsea (Colin), Ben, Emma and Abigail; brothers, Ted (Dorothy) Stanfield and Bob (Joann) Stanfield; and cousin, Marjorie Snow. Joan and Don did extensive traveling throughout the U.S. Joan enjoyed the theater and eating out with her family. She will be remembered for her caring heart and the love she had for her family. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 2, 2010 from 4-6pm at Schoedinger Worthington Chapel, 6699 North High Street, Worthington, Ohio 43085. A memorial service will be on Sunday, October 3, 2010 at 2:30pm at the Salvation Army Chapel at Worthington Woods, 760 Worthington Woods Boulevard, Worthington, Ohio 43085. Capt.
