Joan Lois Hill, age 88, died March 6, 2015 at Whetstone Gardens and Care Center. Joan was born in Uhrichsville, Ohio on June 21, 1926 the daughter of Melvin E. and Mary E. (Price) Hill. She was retired from DCSC and Broad Street Presbyterian Church where she was a member. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters and brothers-in-law Jean (Louie) Sass, Shirley Delorme and Dotty (Randy) Randle. Joan is survived by her sister Marilyn (Howard) Valentine of California; 12 nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and great nephews. A memorial service will be held 11:30 AM Saturday, April 18 at Broad Street Presbyterian Church, 760 E. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43205 with Rev. Ann Palmerton officiating. Inurnment will be at Sunset Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the COMPASS Program c/o the church. Arrangements by Schoedinger Midtown Chapel.
