Jodi was a warm, loving mother and “JoJo” to her family. She did everything possible to support her daughter and son-in-law, and her world revolved around her cherished grandson. Her life was made fuller and more magical by making countless memories with him, including trips to Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida to see her sister. She was lucky to have a circle of lifelong friends who were like family to her.
Jodi dedicated her life to serving others, making a lasting impact in the communities she touched. Her work in public service spanned decades, and she especially loved her time on grant management for AmeriCorps. In her most recent supervisory role at Southeast Healthcare, she was adored by her colleagues and clients. Jodi was known for her kindness, compassion, and commitment to the greater good.
An avid tennis player and fan, Jodi brought the same energy and enthusiasm on the court as she did to her life. She had an immense love for dogs and found comfort in raising her fur babies. Jodi did not often recall the names of people she met on her frequent visits to the park, but she always remembered the dogs.
Though her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her, we take comfort in the fact that her legacy lives on through the countless lives she touched, her commitment to family, and the joy she spread in her community.
A memorial service to celebrate Jodi will be held in spring of 2026. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Jodi’s honor to the Franklin County Dog Shelter.
Jodi is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Marilyn McGuckin, and sister, Jan McGuckin. She is survived by her husband, Rick Tully, daughter, Caitlin Tully, son-in-law, Christopher Kopech, grandson, Grady Kopech, sister, Jane Weden, sister-in-law, Mary Beth Pratt, aunt and uncle, Peg and Pete Dabrowski, many wonderful nephews, nieces, cousins, and her beloved friends.
We hope that her spirit will live on in the actions of others who seek to make this world a better place.
