Diana and I are vacationing in Arizona.  I have been going over and over many memories of John in the 4 hours since my dad called and told me of John's death.  When Paul preached at Wolf Creek, I could see the John of my youth at Whitehall.  Our sympathies to the entire,  extended family.

i worked with john every day as long as he has been at coughlin i stoped in around 11 oclock every day and he would say ( its about time u get here) i will miss that he was a good man we talked about everything when my dad passed away john had tears in his eyes for my loss now i have tears in mine for u john i will miis u may god bless the family in this time i will keep u in my heart and prayers

My name is Sue and my husband Russ worked with John for the last year.  I was quite shocked at the untimely passing of John.  He was always very kind to me when I stopped at the shop and helpful with anything I needed.  I certainly will miss hearing the nightly stories about him, they were a highlight for us to share.  My most sincere condolences and prayers for your healing are with your family at this time.

John and I worked next to eachother for almost 2 1/2 years.  John was a good man who always took care of me everything from helping me get a good alternator for my car to making sure i had an ice scraper in my car ever winter and a fork to eat my lunch with! John will be missed by all of us at Coughlins he was always there when you needed to vent.  things wont be the same with out his input on everything that was going on (even if you didnt want to hear it lol) I will miss our sing alongs and will think of you everytime I hear take me to the river!

We are saddened by the death of John. We appreciated his boldness with God's word and his faithfulness until his passing. We have lost a soldier of Christ and we will miss him. We pray for God's comfort to Marsha, James, & Paul and all of the family.

We were joined together with John and Marsha through the marriage of our daughter Beth to their son Paul.We were so saddened by his sudden death but are rejoicing too because now he is in a wonderful place with our Lord many thoughts and prayers are being sent up for Marsha and the rest of the family.

John was one of my favorite people to stop in and just say "hello" to while traveling from dealership to dealership.  John always made a point to wave me his way if I walked by. More just to slow me down and harrass me than anything, and I loved it!  I will never forget when we discussed the right way to make coffee using the machine/pot right outside his office.  Well, it didn't really happen that way...it was more like me making coffee, and John leaning out his window telling me how I was doing it wrong.  He was one of the best at simply pulling your leg, getting a wry smile.  I was saddened to hear of his passing, as I am working out of Circleville today, and was looking forward to say "hello" to my Ford Parts buddy.  The banter will not be replaced, and will be missed.
