John A. Delawder, age 52, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on Monday, January 28, 2013. He was born in Ironton, Ohio on March 7, 1960 to the late Clarence and Frances (Orsini) Delawder. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and worked for Safeway Electric Company. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Pamela Truitt. He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Rita Delawder; sons, John R. and Justin Delawder; and grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Kathy Akers, Homer Delawder, Joni Hipple, Mary White, and Mark Delawder; and many nieces and nephews. John loved the outdoors; he enjoyed traveling, collecting stones, and fishing. Friends may call on Sunday, February 3, 2013 from 2:00PM-5:00PM at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL 3920 Broadway Grove City where the funeral service will be held on Monday, February 4, 2013 at 10:00AM. Rev. Vijay Buck officiating. Committal service will follow at 2:30PM at Haverhill Cemetery, Haverhill, Ohio.
