John "Jack" R. Richardson

John "Jack" Robert Richardson, 86 yrs, of Blacklick, November 29, 2013 at home, in the loving care of his daughter and granddaughter. Born September 6, 1927 in Uhrichsville, Ohio to Ora Otto Richardson and Clara Frances (Sickinger) Richardson.

Preceded in death by wife Marjorie Ann (Nolan) Richardson, sisters Clara Fisher and Mona Dunn West, brothers Edwin and James Richardson. Survived by son Martin (Lynda) of Westerville; daughter Leigh (Bruce) Crosby; grandchildren Nolan and Eric Richardson, Elizabeth and Michael Crosby.

Dennison HS, class of 1945. US Navy 1945-1946, US Navy Reserves 1946-1954.

Founding member, past president and past Director of Training Columbus All-breed Training Club. Past president Weimeraner Club of America. Founding member and first Director of Training Licking River Kennel Club. Original organizer of the DogHouse for the Ohio State Fair. Conducted 4-H dog training classes in Westerville and Gahanna. Various rolls with Ohio Great Dane Club, Columbus Collie Club, Schnauzer Club of Central Ohio, German Shepherd Dog Club of Central Ohio, and many others.
