John David Miller, age 76, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on November 7, 2023. John was born on February 14, 1947 in Martins Ferry, Ohio to Norman and Margaret Miller. John worked 38 years for the United States District Court as a Courtroom Deputy. He was an avid reader, computer enthusiast, and diehard fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Ohio State Buckeyes. John was a kind-hearted, patient, and gentle soul who always put his family first. Though he was a man of few words, he was a friend to all. John will be remembered as a devoted husband, supportive father, loving grandfather, and caring son and brother. Preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Margaret Miller. John is survived by his wife of 48 years, Donna Miller; sons, Ryan Miller and Spenser (Caitlin) Miller; grandchildren, Kellan and Holden; siblings, Patricia (Richard) Lee, Marilyn (Roger) Shelbourne, and Kenneth (Mollie) Miller, Sr. A celebration of life will be held at the Pinnacle Community Center at 1710 Harbour Mist Dr in Grove City, OH on December 16th from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM.
