John W. Van Vlack, Jr., age 45, passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at OSU Hospital. John was born November 29, 1972 to John and Mary (Adams) Van Vlack in Columbus. He enjoyed bingo and going to the local casinos every chance he could. John loved to fish, hunt and gun shooting at the range. John attended the Chapel of Rest Church and Genoa Baptist Church. He is preceded by his father, John W. Van Vlack, Sr.; grandparents, Milburn and Martha Adams and George and Jeannette Van Vlack. He is survived by his mother, Mary Van Vlack; brother, Todd Van Vlack; sister, Tammra Quincel; nieces, Kristina Lockhart and Tina Quincel; great-niece, Megan Lockhart; along with many other family and friends. Family will receive friends Wednesday, July 11, 2018 from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road, where a funeral service will follow at 12 p.m. Pastor Tim Crisafulli and Pastor Wayne Booth will co-officiate the service. Burial to follow at Northlawn Memory Gardens in Westerville, Ohio.
