John Robert Yoder Sr., age 68, of Westerville, Ohio passed away peacefully on May 19, 2018 at Columbus Colony after a long illness. He was laid to rest at Blendon Central Cemetery in Westerville at a private family gathering. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Pamela (Wolfe) Yoder of Westerville, a son, a daughter, stepsons, siblings, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Mary Yoder of Clintonville. John was a graduate of North High School. He enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1968 during the Vietnam War and retired after 20 years of service. He was also employed as a technician at Marz Glass Company and Comtex Laundry. John was a big heavy metal fan and enjoyed attending OZ-Fest. He loved being in the yard playing with his dogs: Mags, Bailey, Rudy, Kady and Abby who were waiting for him in heaven.
