Johnnie James Beard, Jr. age 66, of Columbus, OH, a loving father, husband and grandfather, went to be with the angels on December 9, 2012. He was born May 3, 1946 in Opelika, Alabama. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Elizabeth Marlene Walters; son and daughter-in-law, James and Mary Walters; grandchildren, Victoria, Brooklyn, James and Devin Walters; daughter, Jamie Lynn; brothers, Willie, Edward and Joseph Beard and sisters, Alberta Cannon, Fannie Allen, Ernestine Beard and Jessie Tobert. He was preceded in death by mother, Bertha Mae Beard; father, Johnnie James Beard Sr. and brother, Levi. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Schoedinger Funeral Service, 229 E.
