Joseph "Jody" A. Barr, born May 24, 1959, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2013 at Riverside Hospital in Columbus. He is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Margie (Jones) Barr; his mother, Connie (Kessler) Barr; brothers, Keith (Susie) and Brian (Pam) Barr; sister, Beth (Bill) Butts, an aunt and uncle, Jack and Marilyn Barr; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. Jody was preceded in death by his father, Laurin Barr. Jody was a 1977 graduate of Bishop Watterson High School and also attended OSU. He was employed at McNaughton-McKay. He was an avid sports enthusiast and loved to spoil his nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held at 7pm on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger RD., where the family will receive friends from 5pm until the time of service.
