Joseph Edward Brannon, 79, of Dublin, passed away on November 29, 2016. Joe was a proud member of the United States Air Force, serving in the Korean War. He was active in the VFW Post 532, American Legion Post 465, NAUS 15A, and the Local 86 United Union of Roofers, Waterproofers and Allied Workers. Joe served as the Business Manager for the Union for 17 years after working as a roofer for 24 years. Joe, who is now in Heaven drinking a Bud Light and watching OSU Football, will be very deeply missed by his loving wife of 57 years, Janet Sue (Boggs) Brannon; sons John (Carla) and DJ (Pam) Brannon; grandchildren Jenni, Ashley and Justin Brannon; and sisters Mary Lou (Albi) Brakespear and Ginger Young. He was preceded in death by his father William Brannon, mother Virginia (John) Wood, and brother Ernie Brannon. Joe's family will receive friends from 4-8pm Friday, December 2, 2016 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Road. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
