Joseph Simon Cohen, age 90, of Columbus, died Thursday, July 27, 2017 at OSU Wexner Medical Center. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army during World War II and the Korean Conflict and retired as a Supervisor from Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC) in 1992. Joseph was a military and history enthusiast. He is preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Frances; parents, Harry and Flora Cohen; and sister, Jacqueline Lenore Bentoff. He is survived by daughter, Judy Cohen; son, Ron Cohen; niece, Jody Spero; nephews, Jeff and Jay Bentoff; beloved rescue dogs, Molly Mae, Sammy Doodles, and Dexter. All services are to be private.
