Joseph Wesley Webber

Joseph W. Webber, Jr. age 85, of Upper Arlington passed away on July 25, 2016. Preceded in death by his loving wife of 56 years, Audrey G. (Trimble) Webber; his parents, Mildred V. Webber and Joseph W. Webber, Sr.; sister, Dorothy V. Hocter and brothers, Daniel A. Webber and William L. Webber, Sr. He was born and raised in Columbus, OH and graduated from Columbus North High School class of 1950. Joe proudly served in the US Army during the Korea War. He served 8 years total between active military and Army Reserve and was honorable discharged. Joe received the Korean Service Medal with 1 Camp Star, The United Nations Service Metal, Combat Infantry Blue medal, National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal and ROK President Unit CIT. Joe was employed by the Columbus Citizen Journal News Paper and Columbus Dispatch as City District Manager. Joe was a Board of Certified Realtor with Hadler Realty where he was the Vice President of Management and Leasing. For over 64 years Joe was actively involved with the Linden Northeast Lions Club and was a member of the Scioto Country Club, Quail Ridge Country Club, The American Legion, National Association of Realtors, The Classic Car Club of American and the North High Polar Bear Alumni Association. Joe will be remembered for his ability to share stories of his life, his interests in classic cars and most of all the deep love of his wife. "His Little Angel" and Sweetie" Audrey. Joe is survived by his sister-in-law, Alison Webber (widow of Bill Webber) numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Linden Northeast Lions Club in Joe's memory. Family will receive friends on Monday August 1, 2016 from 5-8pm at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Road, Columbus, Ohio 43221, where the funeral service will begin at 10:00am on Tuesday, August 2, 2016.
