Joshua Christopher Howze

Joshua Christopher Howze, age 34 of Columbus, Ohio passed away on Friday, December 24, 2021. He was born on July 7, 1987 to Patrick Stanton and Saundra Howze. Joshua is survived by his son Daniel Parker; siblings Justin, Marquell, Marcus, Jalissa, Marquan, Makayla, Trey, Miracle, Anthony Stanton; Cassandra Howze, Kristin Cornelio; Brenden and Brody McCoy.

Joshua is also survived and loved by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by grandparents Romilda and Arthur Stanton.

Joshua was known by all for his love of family and the Cleveland Browns.

A home going service will be held at SCHOEDINGER NORTH, 5554 Karl Rd, Columbus, Oh 43229, Friday, January 7, 2022 at 10am, Apostle Shanina Jones the celebrant. Committal will follow at Noon at East Lawn Cemetery, 1340 Woodland Ave, Columbus, 43219.

Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free

I’m following the path God has laid you see.

I took His hand when I heard him call

I turned my back and left it all.

Tasks left undone must stay that way

My life’s been full, I savored much

Good friends, good times, a loved one’s touch.

Perhaps my time seemed all too brief

Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief.

Lift up your hearts and peace to thee

God wanted me now; He set me free.
