Joyce Marie Park

Joyce Marie Park, 75, of Bellefontaine, died Wednesday, November 18, 2015. She was born August 13, 1940 in Wykoff, MN to Hazel (Shaw) Vesey and the late M. David Vesey. She was a graduate of Chosen Valley High School, Chatfield, MN and she retired as Production Control Supervisor with STRS. She was a very active member of Stoney Creek Church of the Brethren where she was a deacon. Joyce was very involved with helping others and in fundraising for many churches. She was formerly a Red Cross Volunteer and she enjoyed cooking, gardening, knitting and crocheting. She will be greatly missed. Joyce is preceded in death by her first husband Charles McKnight, son Christopher McKnight and brother Kenneth Vesey. She is survived by Larry her husband of 19 years, children Dave (Robin Knapp) McKnight, JoEllen McKnight, Douglas McKnight, SueEllen (Ronald Jr.) Ball, Nichole Rene (Roger) Davis, grandchildren Nathan Bellomy, Christopher McKnight, Christianna (Jonathan) Heberline, William Ball, Dylan and Dawson Davis, 2 great grandchildren Logan Gray and Lilianna Heberline, siblings Betty Holets, Everett (Dixie) Vesey, Ruth (William) Copeman and Mike Vesey, nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Monday, November 23 from 10 AM until time of service at 12 PM at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Ave. Interment will follow at Glen Rest Cemetery.
