

Juan Antonio Lopez, age 53, of Columbus, died unexpectedly Monday, November 6, 2017. He was born on August 23, 1964 in San Diego, CA, a son of Julian Agustin Lopez and Josefina (Guerrero) Segundo who he is survived by. He was a salesman with Green Lawn Cemetery in San Diego, CA and later on, very proudly and passionately represented SaladMaster cookware. In between that time, he also fulfilled a job of a childhood fascination of cranes, having the opportunity to work as an Union iron worker. A devoted husband, father, son and brother, Juan will be deeply missed by his dear wife, love of his life and best friend, Elizabeth Ann Lopez; children, Juan Antonio Lopez Jr, Joshua Lopez, Breana Lyn Lopez and Caitlin Louise Lopez; beloved granddaughters, Eliana and Ava Lopez; brothers and sisters, Jorge, Miguel Angel, Jose Alfredo, Hilda Patricia, Maria Eugenia, Norma Angelica; numerous nieces and nephews and many friends. Juan was preceded in death by a daughter Eveleen Lopez and brothers, Alfredo and Julian Alejandro Lopez. He loved the outdoors, from fishing and frogging to hiking and camping. He was a remarkable tattoo artist for over 30 years and also thoroughly and passionately enjoyed painting and drawing. However, the most fulfilling role he had the honor and pride of living out was the role of a father. Amongst his other children, Tony, Josh and Breana, Caiti his 5 year old, was the light of his life. Time spent together always involved learning, singing, wolf calling, adventuring and playing together.
