Juanita C. Harrison

Juanita is survived by her husband of 61 years, Rodney; son Scott (Robin) of Solon, OH; daughter Gail (David) Corvette of Charleston, SC; grandchildren Evan (Kristen) of Loveland, OH, and Jessie (Brian) Curley of Carmel, IN; great grandchildren Brooklyn and Cameryn of Loveland, OH; brother Roger (Shirley) of Massillon, OH; and sister-in-law Janet Calhoun of Arab, AL.

She is a graduate of Mount Union College where she was a member of Alpha Xi Delta and Mu Phi Epsilon (Music Honorary). Juanita was Director of Music at Worthington Presbyterian Church for 30 years and, in 1997, was named Music Director Emerita. She is a member and ordained Elder of Worthington Presbyterian Church. She was an Adjunct Professor of Music at the Methodist Theological School of Ohio. She was State President of the P.E.O. Sisterhood, and President of the University Women's Club and Women in Music. She is a member of The Worthington Women's Club.

Calling hours will be held at the SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 from 5-8pm on Sunday, May 21, 2017. A Celebration of Life and Witness to the Resurrection will be held at Worthington Presbyterian Church, 773 High Street at 11am on Monday, May 22, 2017 with the Reverend Dr. Julia Wharff Piermont officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the P.E.O. Foundation, 3700 Grand Avenue, Des Moines, Iowa 50312-2899 for the Juanita Harrison PCE Fund.
