Juanita Faye Springer, age 63, passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at her home in the loving care of her family. Faye is what she called herself however, she was affectionately known as “Blondie” to her brother. She was born on October 19, 1959 in Ironton, Ohio to the late James L. Yates and Minnie Ervin. Faye loved to go fishing with her husband. She was creative and made dolls for her family. She also volunteered at the Mid-Ohio Food Bank for many years. Preceded in death by her parents; children, Katie Springer, Gary Ratcliff and Fred Ratcliff; siblings, Paul and Allen Yates, and Karen Hysong. Survived by her husband of 17 years, Michael Sexton; children, Robert (Wendy), Mary Lou (Joe) and Kellis; stepson, Steven Sexton; several grandchildren; siblings, Gary (Nantha) Yates, Maydean Yates and Tammy Ervin; along with other family and friends. Visitation will be held from 2-5 pm on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at Advantage Funeral Home and Cremation by Schoedinger Hilltop, 3030 W. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43204.
