

Judith Brown Kemp, formerly of Upper Arlington, died in Naples, Florida on February 27, 2015. She was born April 21, 1935 in McConnelsville, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her father, Rufas K. Brown, Jr., mother, Helen S. Brown, and brother, Rufas K. Brown, III and her beloved husband, Thomas A. Kemp. She is survived by her daughters, Beth (Rick) DeCamp, Kelley (Rod) Thorson and Amy Goodman and her son Bill (Christina) Kemp and grandchildren Baker and Hunter DeCamp, Hayley and Kaki Thorson, and Kelsey, Thomas, William and Kallie Goodman. She attended Dennison University where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta. Her volunteer activities included Twig and Childhood League. Known to family and close friends as JuJu, she was a competitive tennis player famous for her wacky serve, an avid golfer and she had a lifelong passion for reading. She was a sixteen year cancer survivor who inspired people with her zest for life. Donations in her memory may be made to the Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital, 300 W. 10th Avenue, Columbus, OH 43210.
