Judith S Phillips

Judy was born on January 21, 1944 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Robert, Ruth (Sue) Conley and Jacquelin Whittenburg. Judy worked for the STRS as an Administrative Assistant from where she retired after 28 years.

She enjoyed many hobbies, including her love for quilting and arts. For years, Judy oversaw the Clintonville arts program helping guide it to what it is today. She spent many years traveling to New Mexico and local events participating in crafting classes and activities. When not prepping for a festival or show, she would be making baby quilts for her many grandchildren.Judy loved trying new foods and attending cooking classes with her sister. Most important, was the time spent with family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Judith is preceded in death by her husband, William Fred McClary; Son William “Freddy”McClary.

Judith is survived by her children, Rick Phillips and Jim (Lynn) Phillips, Tina Parsons and Mary “Kathy” (Kenny) Larkins; Sisters, Debbie Pastorek and Terry (Kevin) Logan and Brothers Steve (Pam) Conley and Mike Conley; many grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

Family will accept friends on Monday, August 12, 2024 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at Advantage by Schoedinger North, 5554 Karl Rd, Columbus, OH. Judith will be laid to rest at a private family service at Union Cemetery.
