

Julia Ann Schwirian George was born in Columbus, Ohio on September 7, 1966. She died of complications attendant to chronic renal failure on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at Kobacker House in Columbus. Julie is survived by her parents Kent and Pat Schwirian, brothers John and Tom Schwirian, sister-in-law Cindi Schwirian, and nephews, Aaron and Ryan Schwirian; all live in Columbus and her beloved cat, Lexie. Julie graduated from Upper Arlington High School and Ohio Dominican University. She was employed by Strategic Assets Management until her final illness. Julie was a life-long member of St. Christopher Parish where she served on Parish Council and worked to develop the parish's first computer system. Julie served as Eucharistic Minister at Ohio State University Hospital. The family expresses its gratitude to University Hospital, Riverside Hospital, and especially to Kobacker House for the excellent care Julie received over the course of her illness. The family is very grateful to the anonymous kidney donor whose gift of life gave her several very good years. Funeral Mass for Julie will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at 10:30 am at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 1420 Grandview Avenue, Columbus, with Monsignor John Cody, Celebrant. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service. A private family inurnment follows at St. Joseph Cemetery, Lockbourne.
