Julia "Judy" Dill

Judy Dill, age 83, passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2019. She was born in May of 1935, to Harry Richard "Dick" and Gertrude Hodges in North Linden. Friendship networks formed in that small section of town stayed with her throughout her life. Her family attended McKendree Methodist Church, where she met John Dill, who would become her husband. She graduated from Linden McKinley High School and worked at Ranco as a young adult. In 1955, she married John, and they had two children, Kim and John. She later worked for Mifflin Junior-Senior High School, and Bob Daniels Buick. Judy and her family spent summers at Bay Point in Marblehead, Ohio and built deep friendships which she cherished over three decades. She was the life of the party at Bay Point, and really everywhere she went. She faced all challenges in her life by finding the humor when it was needed most. Judy is preceded in death by her husband John, brother, Dickie, and sister Janice. Judy is survived by her children, Kim and John who were blessed to be by her side when she passed; grandchildren, Louis, Olive, and Harry; great-grandchild, Avery, sister Mary-Lou and family. Family will receive friends Saturday, January 19, 2019 from 10-11 am at Clinton Heights Lutheran Church, 15 Clinton Heights Ave., Columbus, OH 43202; Funeral Service to follow immediately at 11.
