

Karen Lee Blauser, age 79 of Columbus, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2024. Karen was born and raised in Tacoma, Washington, daughter of the late Clifford and Hazel Halfhill. Also preceded in death by her brother, Richard Halfhill. Following high school, Karen went on to attend El Camino College and began working at a recruiting agency. It was there where she met her beloved husband Ronald, and the two of them went on to start a family and shared nearly 56 years of marriage together. Karen enjoyed traveling, especially on cruises, shopping on QVC or HSN, and also celebrating and decorating for the holidays. She was most passionate about her family, and took great pride in their family Christmas gatherings, spoiling all her grandchildren and being together with everyone. She will be greatly missed by her husband, Ronald Blauser; sons, Guy and Rocky (Sarah Trout) Blauser; grandchildren, Mitchell, Trevor, Anthony, and Marisa Blauser; and other extended family members and dear friends. Family will receive friends at a celebration of life from 2-5 P.M. Sunday, February 11th at Schoedinger Northwest, 1740 Zollinger Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Karen’s memory to the charity of your choice.
