Karl Eing

Karl L. Eing, age 84, of Groveport, Ohio, passed away on May 24, 2018. Born on February 18, 1933 in Columbus, Ohio to the late George and Anna Eing. Graduate of Aquinas High School. Karl was a longtime member of Christ the King Catholic Church. He was self-employed for 20 years as an owner of Eing Cement Contractors. Continuing his career as an Inspector Supervisor for the City of Columbus. Preceded in death by his wife, Doris J. Eing; his parents; grandchildren, Baby Boy Eing and Jeanine Marie Eing; and brother, Robert Eing. Survived by his children, Douglas L. Eing, Amy L. (Randy) Ressa; grandchildren, Dustin (Megan) Eing, Deidre (Chad) Ferrell, Nick (Erin) Ressa, Ashley (Zach) Dean; great-grandchildren, Camden Nelson, Christene and Delilah Eing, McKenzie Middleton, Dylan Tuggle, Ivan and Roman Ressa, Ariana and Nash Dean; siblings, Virginia Nagel, John Eing, David (Issie) Eing; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of Karl's caregivers, Angelic, Andrea, Vanessa, and Sharon. Family will receive friends on Thursday May 31, 2018 from 4pm-7pm at the Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Road Gahanna, Ohio 43230. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at Our Mother of Sorrows Chapel 6440 S. High Street Lockborne, Ohio 43137 on Friday June 1, 2018 at 9:30am. Interment to follow, St. Joseph's Cemetery.
