Katherine Rees Jones

Katherine Rees Jones, age 71, of Lancaster, Ohio, passed away on March 28, 2019 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on August 13, 1947 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Hubert and Bette Ramsey.

Katherine was employed for 40 years at The Ohio State University as a Fiscal Officer. She enjoyed spending her time outside, whether that be gardening, mowing the grass or, blowing leaves. Katherine always made sure that all her boys were taken care of, especially her adored grandsons.

She is preceded in death by her brother Keith Ramsey.

Katherine will be greatly missed by husband, Delmar E. Jones; son, David (Mary) Jones; grandsons, Chandler and Keegan Jones; brother, Kenny (Caren) Ramsey; nephews, Kenny (Lisa) Ramsey Jr., Bo (Courtney) Ramsey; nieces, Robin (Jim) Breaky, Caren (Ryan) Sparks, Regina (Joe) Urling, and Courtney (Duane) Cartee; sister-in-law, Diana Ramsey; and a host of loving relatives.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday April 9, 2019 from 4-7pm at the Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Road, Gahanna, Ohio 43230; where a service will be held on Wednesday April 10, 2019 at 11am.
