

Kathy worked at Anthem for 27 years; prior to that she spent 26 years at Midland Mutual. She loved spending time with her family, and was very active at Maize Manor United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir, was a member of the Altar Guild, and volunteered for other business functions at the church. She was also passionately involved in cancer awareness programs, particularly the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.
Kathy is going to be deeply missed by her always and forever best friend Linda Dent; siblings Frederick "Fritz" (Barbara) Chase and Luella (Warren) Woodford; nieces and nephews David (Sharon) Chase, Dennis (Diana) Chase, Deborah (Curtis) Douglas, Donald Woodford, and Nancy (Louie) Woods; four great nephews; four great-great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4-7pm Sunday, September 10, 2017 at the SCHOEDINGER FUNERAL HOME, 6699 North High Street. Her funeral will be held there at 10am Monday, September 11, 2017 with Pastor Ryan Grace officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Chesterville at 12:30pm. Memorial contributions in Kathy's honor may be made to either the Susan G. Komen Fund, www.komencolumbus.org; or Kobacker House, www.ohiohealth.com.
